Letter 10-16-13

This week has sucked so much. Its just really setting in that i'm gone. Which is tough and then a lot of people keep getting after me because I'm so funny and they believe the CCM is strictly for serious grinches who should have any enjoyment. That's a bit dramatic but you get the point. Last week I had an allergic reaction to something and my eye lid was pretty swollen. I was stressin because I thought id have to get a shot in the eye. We joke that that's all the doctors in mexico are capable of so we refer to the clinic as ´Dr. Shot in the Eye´ Not only has this week drug on but I went to buy a drink at la tienda today and noticed someone swiped $170 from my wallet. fantastic. So if you could tell the bank i'm in mexico so i could use my debit card that would be much appreciated. Also I was killing it in Volleyball today and fell and messed up my pump clip so could you order an Animas ping pumpclip from the website and send that to LA? Gracias! I'm not much into newborns so i'm not sure what to tell you about Mason, but good to hear hes doing well! Not only are the conditions pretty sketchy around here but apparently in Latino culture when they are happy/sad they set off fireworks, so along with the highway next to my window we get to listen to canon sounding fireworks all the time. My blood sugars have been fine, its annoying as always but whatever. I am so sick of the food here. Its mentally draining everyday eating mystery meat and weird breads. They don't believe in sweets down here apparently so the desserts and like colored flavorless jellos and flan. Which i'm not a fan of. I'm not about that flan life. I haven't heard from Nick, Jake, or Megan so could you kindly let them know They need to email me asap. One of the hermanas in my district is an RN so last night elder Brown and I were sitting by her and talking really loudly as I was asking Elder Brown for medical advice on what to do with my spider bites. She couldn't help but include herself when she heard us say stuff like ´make sure you clean the area really good and then scratch them open, make sure they bleed. Then you put milk on them and let it sit for awhile´and ´You know, whenever I have bites I just scratch them bloody and then cover with toothpaste. its a miracle cream´ It was too funny. I havent laughed that hard in awhile, actually it was a week because one of the first days here Elder Brown jumped off his bunk and hit his butt cheek really hard on a corner of a wooden table, wobbled over to a chair, paused, then screamed Bob Saget, That was so funny I threw up in the sink from laughing so hard. People are amazed by my talent of making up convincing and elaborate stories based off of nonsense. Its not much use in my life but its a gift none the less. I am so music deprived its of  the upmost ridicilousness. We have like 2 sample songs on the computers and a few of them have hymns if youre lucky. Ive been  listening to ´Maid with flaxen hair´like nobody's business. Give it a listen. I am so jealous of the hermanas clothing, suits are so hot and take forever to put on. All they have to do is wear a skirt and a shirt. Not fair. I got a haircut today which was sketchy as ever because they don't speak English so I sat down and she just went to town, but it looks fine so im not complaining. At the tienda we found these mango and lime flavored waters. They are Levite brand so try and find them in the states. They are like a dollar here for a HUGE bottle of it.  that's all I have for you guys, love and miss everyone so much!
