So this week has been a big turn around. We had a BOMB zone conference this past Thursday so all weekend we've been pumped. We have this guy named Robert that is SO cool. We've been visiting him a lot. No one else had really been progressing so we focused a TON on helping him come to church. Sunday came around and what do you know, He didnt come to church. But who did come blew our minds. We had been praying a lot that Robert can see the importance that this should take in his life and what was shown to us are those who are doing just that. A less active member with her daughters and a man named Craig both came to church. Turns out that Robert had some issues come up with his girlfriend and couldn't make it.
The Nunez family had set a baptismal date for the end of may. But the husband is not approving of the family attending church so they cut off communication with us. But yesterday we were able to meet them and they assured us that they want to be doing this.
And Craig, hes got kind of a crazy back ground but he accepted the invitation to go to the Visitors Center last night for a special fireside last night. The speaker was a teacher at BYU who showed things he has found in mesoamerica and similarities in the book of mormon. That was WAY cool and right up Craigs alley. I learned some really cool stuff ill have to tell you about on skype!
The work continues. Im trying really hard to adapt to being out of the city. I didn't think it would be that different but its a trip. Even missionary work functions differently here. Love you all! Stay strong!
Elder Wilson
There is a new display at the visitors center and they put our tags covering the wall of the new display. ill show a picture of the whole room too. But I found my tag! woohoo!!
Elder Wilson is now serving in Downey, CA with Elder Tafisi.
