Letter from our missionary 11-25-13

HELLO! How is everyone?! My companion and I got invited to a senior couples house for Thanksgiving so we get to have a REAL Thanksgiving. (I'll be giving thanks for that!) Yeah Im in a mandatory car area (since its not safe to walk around/bike) for sure until the next transfer which is a week earlier since transfers would be on Christmas, so appx dec 20 would be when I might need a bike. Speaking of packages, I got the one you sent! THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was really homesick that day because we were stuck in the apartment and all I could do was sit there and miss family. That package was perfect timing. The socks are amazing by the way. 
Approved music is really relaxed so its pretty much anything that not too upbeat or is a love song. Im thinking like jack johnson or something chill? Tell Elder Hogard that Elder Brown is in my mission. I roomed with E. Brown in the MTC. Hes a super funny guy. About the pictures, another missionary left a flashdrive so Im going to put all the pictures on that and send it home soon. Ive got a lot of crazy pictures. Get excited!
Okay so ive got quite the story. This week we got in a wreck ( I'll send pictures). We got T boned coming across a street. They hit the drivers back door so we were alright for the most part but my comp got a minor concussion from the airbag so he started throwing up. So we got to make the hour drive to UCLA. That made for a fun night. The car is totaled they said and had to get towed since the airbags went off. But were alive so its all good. Except my comp lost his driving privileges so I am now the driver. Which is stressful. People in LA arent nice drivers and Im too nice of a guy to cut into a lane to get over. my driving will get worse and I'll fit in soon enough.
