This week has seriously flown by. Sunday night I was looking at my planner and said holy cow its P-Day again! This transfer is almost over already! I went on splits with the district leader this week and since my companion couldnt drive and he couldnt drive, I had to go to his english area for the day. Which was nice being able to speak in english but I soon realized how much I love being spanish. The spanish members are SO nice. We get fed pretty much every night. They love to see you, they always ask about family and everything. Super nice people.
Everyone needs to go read the September 2013 ensign. I have been reading that recently for some of personal study. Freaking loving it. one of them Ive been really focusing on is about prayers of gratitude. Ive been only expressing gratitude this week in my prayers which is a lot harder than you think to not ask for anything. The talk ended with a quote I really liked. "Gratitude inspires humility, humility encourages faith, and faith brings miracles." Its really helped me get over the homesickness and see how great things are. Which is something we try to help people see especially during Christmas time. Its easy for people to get caught up in what they dont have.
We have about 8 people were teaching but That doesn't keep us very busy. We have been knocking doors a lot. its actually pretty productive. Latins LOVE to talk about their families. We mat a guy last night who just might be the family that I come back to see get sealed. He loved the Book of Mormon and is really interested. He has great beliefs too. Hes getting baptized... He just doesn't know it yet haha. Its only about 50 degrees here but it feels so cold compared to mexico! I didn't get a good transition from Missouri to California so I feel freezing. I couldnt imagine being in the actual cold of Missouri.
