Letter from Elder Wilson 1-20-14

Well I'm glad the time is flying by for you guys. Its kind of scary to think how different everything will be when I get back. I'm still trying to write Jordan haha. I seriously never remember to write people. I Just mailed 4 letters last week so there's that. I'm trying to get caught up! But I'll be a lot better If you write me in the future.

Parker: I haven't gotten the letter you said you were about to send. That what like a month ago quĂ© paso? Also, That video of Parker dad sent me was quite the hit. I have to email at the English branch today since its MLK day and all the libraries are closed. So a bunch of other elders were here and saw it. They didn't believe that was my little bro.

So pretty much the only thing that happened this week was the car situation. So my companion got in a wreck and lost his driving privileges last transfer and so since were in Watts I had to start driving. Then last week as I was merging into another lane a car way trying to speed around me and we had an accident. But since I was the one merging the blame got put on me. So I lost my driving privileges as well. So instead of moving us, the mission president just decided to leave us here on bikes for the rest of the transfer. So now were biking around Watts. Pray for us. This is also the first time biking as a diabetic so this is going to be .... an experience. 16 more days.  I will be on a bike the rest of my mission, since I lost my driving privileges.  I have been suuuuper cautious while driving and now this happens!

The other day, since we've been on bikes, we got a ride with some other elders to do a service project. We needed a ride so they came along with. Afterwards, we thought they could take us home, but they had appointment like every hour until 2. So from 11am to 2pm we had to go with them to appointment... in P day clothes. So that was incredibly awkward. But at lunch we finally met this little boy the english elders always talk about. He's super weird, but really funny. After eating, a random Mariachi band was walking around and the family invited them in. They were super creep,y but it makes a cool story. Ill try and send pics of it. Such a weird day.

Oh by the way. Yesterday at stake conference we had a broadcast from Salt Lake. Elder Eyring and a few others talked in a broadcast for the LA stakes. That was super cool. They talked about things they've done in LA and things like that. That was super coo,l it was so specific.

Yeah I did get the card from Grandma Beckstead.  Im going to send her a letter, has she been talking about sending it? haha goood ole abuela

Well thats about all from me, love you guys

Elder Wilson
