Letter from Elder Wilson 6-9-14

Brothers and Sisters the work is hastening!

Just this week weve run into 2 less actives and an inactive member! How crazy is that?! We Helped a woman walk back to her car from our street because she said she was going to have a heart attack and then found out that she was an endowed member of the church! She has a alot of hard feelings towards the church but her son and daughter in law are both returned missionaries and will keep her in contact with the church. She also said hello to us this morning as we were walking home from doing laundry. She stopped for a minute and asked how we were doing. Shes currently living out of her car, But I pray her living situation changes so we can visit her.
The second less active was a woman who we saw as she was crossing the street in front of us. We were waiting at the light to turn left and so we didnt want to miss the light and follow her to try and talk to her. But the spirit told us that we needed to. So we rode over there and said We felt like we should talk to her and the first thing she says back is "The Holy Spirit is so strong, I have been praying to find the church." She moved to Nebraska 6 years ago and then moved to LA about 10 months and has been praying to find the church somewhere here in in the states. It was such a sweet experience being the miracle for someone else.
Then last night, we were yet again at a light and a man asked us if we were missionaries and then when we said yes he just said thanks and walked off. So we caught up with him and asked what was going on since we were a little confused and he told us "I dont want to bother you, I was just going to tell you that Im a mormon."
We also took a real good look at our investigators last thursday and decided the best course of action was to drop a LOT of our investigators. Weve been trying so hard to help these people but its become more and more obvious our time could be spent better.

Im being transfered back to spanish!! Woohoo! Im honestly not sure where my new ward is but I will be back in a car so thats a blessing. Today is going to be packing, packing, packing. Love everyone and stay safe!
