BUENOS DIAS!
I have not gotten the shirts yet. My companions mom ordered him some and they look really nice. The only things that worries me is they are really long on the torso so that they don't come untucked. But I already have a small torso so a ver que pasa. I will get them this Thursday!
Wednesday already? Was this test prep as long as the one in Missouri. I feel like I remember you taking real estate classes/tests for weeks.
Okay so as far as the whole missionary work thing, This area is doing amazing. Perfect timing too. It is kind of like spring season in this area because things are just really starting to pick up. My trainer was in the area for about 10 months and he made it sound terrible. Yes there are a lot of black people but its not nearly as bad as he made it sound. There is definitely work here. Im convinced that the amount of "work" in an area is completely dependent on the missionaries. I felt like my first area was super dead, looking back I miss how busy we were. But as far as here, Anabelle and her Daughter, accepted to be baptized on August 24. She came to church last week and loved it so much that she wanted to bring her kids. The daughter is having a really hard time because of some health issues with her dad in Miami, and she couldn't go visit him this summer. I really hope she can get involved with the ward here and keep busy enough to keep her mind off of her dad. Oh and Anabelle has a nephew who wants to come to church as well. So we will meet him this Tuesday. Im so excited for them to be baptized! I cant wait to put into practice what Elder Ballard said about inviting EVERYONE to baptisms. We've been working hard and I can feel the momentum picking up!
My companion and I have been doing really well I feel. There's the occasional bump in the road but that's going to happen with everyone about some thing or another. But we've been doing really well. I want to help him speak more Spanish because I know he can but I think he just feels a little hesitant about it. And I don't want to do what my trainer did and just throw me into it and hope I make it. So still not sure what to do about that. We have interviews this Thursday so I'll see what President says! :)
Update on the Language: I love Spanish. I had a dream that I was home and speaking to people at QT in Spanish. Weird. But we've had a lot more of those "You speak Spanish...? But you're white" Moments in the past week. You never quite get over that. The people are super nice. Im going to miss it in Utah :(
So is the church vacant? When I think of Idaho that church is the first thing I think of. Its going to be weird to not have family in there. Oh speaking of. Remember Elder Ransbottom who is from Preston? Turns out he lives in Whitney, which is kind of by franklin he said. I freaked out when he said "I actually live in a suburb of Preston."
Ive realized this week 2 things.
1. I LOVE panda express
2. How to budget so I can afford panda express.
We got a referral this week named "Wilson" he just wont let us contact him. Ill try and take a picture when I finally meet him haha. Oh and I ordered new name tags last month and I finally got them. But they messed up my name. I'll attach a picture of what happened.
Les Quiero!

To celebrate the birthday of the Good 'ol US of A I bought my favorite chips and drink (Diet Pepsi and Sweet and Spicy Chili Doritos) You can also see how cultured we are because we eat Tapatio and have a Mexican flag hanging on our wall.
For Zone Training Meeting on the 4th a district in my zone put on a special musical number "America the Beautiful" accompanied by an Elder playing the Harmonica. It was one of the best times on the mission. PS: Yes I wore my flag tie that day.
