Today has been the weirdest B-Day by far. We just found out last night that we had temple service this morning. So we spent the morning going crazy on leveling this dirt for literally 2 hours. THEN we trimmed birds of paradise for awhile, then they had to move a couch up 4 stories to some sister apartment and set up some beds. Yikes. its now 2pm and were just starting P-day. But all is well when "You are in the service of your fellowmen you are only in the service of your God." right?
my companion is Elder Gillman, hes from Heber city Utah. Hes a freak about Rodeo and is almost as cowboy as Steve (thats a joke. No one could out cowboy Steve) We went hiking last week and he saw a horse and bout had an anxiety attack. Nah im exaggerating but he sure does love the mountains like he loves his momma. Please thank everyone for the happy birthday emails! I forgot it was my birthday until about 5 hours in so im glad others remembered :). Sad news is no mail came last Friday so I couldn't open any of it today :( Ill have to eat my sorrows in panda express >:D! Love that orange chicken! Maybe it was inspired and Im going to have a really bad day on Friday and need the boost.
Speaking of inspired we received a referral last week from the sisters that cover our area in English and I wrote apartment number 5 down in my planner. BUT we found out the hard way that Anna (who we were looking for) did NOT live there. Turns out a man from the Philippians lives there. He was actually pretty interested in the Book of Mormon and said he would love to get a copy. So we sent the referral back to the sisters to give him one in Tagalog. As I said the address one of the sisters said "No the apartment number is number 6!" I wrote the wrong number but that man would have never been found if I didnt. The Lord is great.
We have very little time since we have life half a p-day. Im putting more pics on dropbox so get ready for those!
Love and miss you all!\
